"Alcohol-Questionnaire and Involvement Audit..."
The purpose of our Alcohol-Questionnaire- Although the story of addictive behavior is different for each person, the progress is always very similar.
It is as if the victim has invited a likeable and amusing ‘friend’ into their home. The ‘friend’ takes over the running of the house and family. The home owner (victim) is eventually sent to live in the toilet, while believing that he or she is still the owner and in control of the whole household.
The Alcohol-Questionnaire will help to know if there is a problem.
An old Chinese proverb provides a similar insight into the road to addiction – “Man takes drink, drink takes drink, drink takes man”.
Not only is one victim affected by inappropriate behavior as alcohol becomes a catalyst that creates a continuing and expanding chain reaction. But family, friends and the communities become victims by association.
Communities suffer from the tragic consequences of alcohol related motor vehicle accidents. Hospitals and health care professionals divert much needed resources to assisting motor vehicle trauma cases, domestic violence cases and various forms of health care and surgery for victims of long term alcohol self abuse.
“SHAME – THE ENGINE THAT DRIVES ADDICTION”
How long will children and grandchildren suffer from shame?
The person with this disorder falls victim to inner pressure resulting from a toxic shame that drives the addiction, making the person feel powerless to stop the habit.
Seductive lifestyle advertising seduces those who are unsure of themselves.
They feel good and accept the opportunity to become a consumer and then rationalize that it is all good.
“Has the fun and the party been costing too much”
