"How the influence of Chiron has saved my life..."

Just recently I learnt about Chiron for healing, transformation, spiritual growth properties (Chiron is also named The wounded Healer) and Chiron was discovered in 1977 by I believe, Charles Kowal. It is a small planet (some believe it is an asteroid) that takes an elongated path around the Sun, 50.7 years to complete. So I believe we really have 50 years to get our acts together as far as personal growth goes and healing the wounds that bind us. Yes we really have all of our life to grow and become aware, however there is certain areas that you and only you have to conquer in this life.

We Do Best What We Were Taught To Do... We Do Best What We learned To Do...WHEN WE LEARN BETTER WE DO BETTER

Astrologers believe the placement of Chiron in your birth chart holds a key to which of these areas need conquering. For example, the 'sun sign' Chiron was placed in at our birth holds the key to where our wound is, and, its up to us to walk towards the healing.

IF CHIRON WAS IN
ARIES - The wound is in the ego or the Self
TAURUS - The wound is in the body or in a loss of a sense of security or self worth
GEMINI - The wound is in making oneself heard and may affect breathing
CANCER - The wound is emotional and may manifest itself as psychosomatic illness
LEO - The wound is in the heart or in self expression
VIRGO - The wound may manifest at a mental or nervous level with perfectionism and self-criticism as likely causes
LIBRA - The wound is in relationship with others or one's self
SCORPIO - The wound may lie in unhealed, past life experiences around death and other death-related trauma
SAGITTARIUS - The wound may have been caused by a previous adherence to a particular belief system or may lie in present-life attitudes, such as closed mindedness
CAPRICORN - Wound may be carried in skeletal system or relate to past-life authoritarianism
AQUARIUS - The wound is not being accepted in Society. This placement suggests the alienated outsider or scapegoat for the troubles of the world
PISCES - The wound is loss of union with the divine

Now I know this can't help you unless you know your astrology chart but hey some may have theirs, these examples can give you an idea of where peoples wounds do lie.

Of course there is always the wounds of tradegy and suffering that we experience, however, when you analyse these, it is our basic wound that allows these tradgedy's and suffering's to happen and/or, our response to these tradgedy's and suffering's. What could happen to you and devastate you could have a totally milder affect on me and vice versa.

So back to this lifesaver Chiron. As it travels around the sun over our 50 odd years we have many opportunities to allow healing to take place within us, OR NOT. Chiron will just begin all over again giving us another opportunity to allow healing. Chiron is the force for healing, transformation from our wounded self, service to others by sharing our experience, strength and hope, and hey our spirit grows and evolves, which is the natural order of things.

There is mythological info' about Chiron as he was the first Centaur, he was wounded mortally even though half of him was immortal, (a little like us some believe).

Healing can also been seen as "becoming aware" or "reaching enlightenment", "becoming a master" or "attaining spirituality". Notice these are all used in a "getting there way", we weren't like this to begin our lives we have to "get there". Learning about Chiron and its Maverick properties and I say Maverick because "growth is not promoted in society", it's safer and more secure with the devil we know, our wounds. How can we imagine more freedom until we experience it? Hey when we experience just a little more we wonder how we could have survived in our previous level of awareness before.

The transit of Chiron through Capricorn has helped to save my life, and I say helped because I did the hard work, I allowed the pain into the light where it had no power anymore, I took the steps to get the answers I needed to. I did'nt put a bandaid on my wound, it required me to once and for all cut out that toxic puss filled painful sore and eliminate its symptoms. No longer do I feel like I dont know what it's all about, Im free now to recieve all this wonderful world has to offer because now I truly believe I'm worthy too, you bet.
